Organic tea farming has been our business since 1991. We believe that cultivating and harvesting our Rooibos should be in harmony with nature and that as little of the natural habitat should be disturbed during this process.

Rooibos Tea Production Areas

Seeing that Rooibos is produced ONLY in the Cedarberg, Bokkeveld and Sandveld regions of the Western Cape, there is an increasing amount of pressure on the environment and the regions’ unique biodiversity because of a higher demand. We believe that by farming only on smaller areas of land (6% of the available land) and doing it organically we can preserve Maskam and our farm’s unique biodiversity.

Organic Rooibos Tea:

• is not treated with any pesticides (naturally grown).
